Unacceptable Conditions: Plasma or other body fluids. Contaminated, heat-inactivated, hemolyzed, or lipemic specimens.

Stability (collection to initiation of testing): After separation from cells: Ambient: 48 hours; Refrigerated: 2 weeks; Frozen: 1 year (avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles)

12-19 APL: Indeterminate
20-80 APL: Low to Medium positive
81 APL or above: High Positive
