Collect: Lavender (EDTA) or pink (K2EDTA).

Specimen Preparation: DO NOT FREEZE. Transport 5 mL whole blood. (Min: 2 mL)

Storage/Transport Temperature: Room temperature. Send Sunday-Thursday only. Specimen must be received within 24 hours of collection; testing must be performed within 48 hours of collection.

Stability (collection to initiation of testing): Ambient: 24 hours; Refrigerated: Unacceptable; Frozen: Unacceptable
