ARUP ANNOUNCES THE AVAILABILITY OF A NEW PARAFFIN TISSUE AND EXTRACTED NUCLEIC ACID TRANSPORT KIT

This new Styrofoam^® transport container is designed to hold up to five paraffin tissue blocks, two plastic slide carriers, and three micro-containers for holding tissue scrolls/shaves or extracted nucleic acid aliquots, all from a single patient. This new kit will make the transporting and tracking of these non-traditional, irreplaceable specimens easier. This new supply item is available now through eSupply; reorder number 47808: Kit, Paraffin Tissue and Extracted Nucleic Acid Transport.

Please note: The kit does not come supplied with the tissue cassettes, micro-containers, or plastic slide cases.
